Help

The network runs on you.

We always want help. This is bigger than one person. We are earthlings and are all welcome here.

First, the one that matters most

Be someone who can be alerted.

When someone nearby presses for help, your phone tells you where. You go, if you can.

Trained in first aid or CPR

St John, Red Cross, surf lifesaving, a work course. You know what to do in the first minutes.

Nurse, doctor, paramedic

There is a nurse within 500 metres of almost everyone. Nobody tells them when it matters.

Close by, no training

Anybody would have sprinted to help. You can open a gate, hold a torch, flag down the ambulance.

What not to do

Don’t add complexity for its own sake. Simple beats clever.

Don’t argue about hypotheticals. Build, test, learn.

Don’t be a dick. We’re all here because the current system hurts people.

Don’t wait for permission. Fork it. Build it. Show us.

Decisions for now: rough consensus. Later we use the system we are building. Proximity-weighted.

Be someone who can be alerted.

Tell us where you are and what you can do. That is the whole ask.
